Chief Flight Instructor Encounters Lone Tree

Our chief flight instructor, while practicing touch-n-go's, encountered a vertical obstacle commonly known as a tree.   The placement of his aircraft in the tree created no know damage to either the tree or the aircraft.   Possibly the only damage here was to the ego ?
